Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is an ongoing program offered as an 8 week class or individual training by Psychologist, Tom A. Anderson, Ed.D. Stress comes from the way we cope with work and life changes, family issues, illness, and/or psychological conditions. Stress and so many of our other problems grow out of our getting stuck in a mode of constant thinking and doing and trying to keep up with the fast pace of our world today. Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction allows patients to learn, practice, and apply powerful stress reduction skills that can result in profound states of relaxation and stillness. Research has shown that continued use of these skills can facilitate significant improvements in suffering from many medical conditions, anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, anger, and other negative emotions.
