Marriage and Family Therapist

Michael Lederman is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 25 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Michael believes in a spiritual, emotionally supportive, and cognitive based systems of therapy. He uses a variety of techniques including cognitive, relaxation, and meditative therapy.

Michael graduated from Georgia State University with an Education Specialist Degree in Child and School Psychology. He completed his graduate work at the University of Georgia in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Michael’s experience includes child and adolescent work in the areas of:

  • ADHD
  • social skills
  • Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
  • Learning Disabilities.
  • self-esteem issues

He works with children, adolescents and adults, individually, dealing with the following:

  • depression
  • PTSD
  • anxiety
  • Bi-Polar Disorder.
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

Michael experience also includes marital and couples therapy. He is successful in providing marriages and couples with help in improving communication skills, intimacy, and emotional connections.
